The dull but necessary page. It covers who owns what, the fact that the book is fiction, and the publisher whose name this title happens to share.

This is a work of fiction
The characters, organisations, operations, companies and events in Pantheon are invented, or are used fictitiously. Any resemblance to real people, living or dead, or to real events, is coincidental.
The novel places invented characters alongside real countries, cities and institutions, including intelligence and government agencies. Those depictions are fiction. They are not accounts of how any real agency operates, they do not describe real personnel, methods, policies or events, and nothing in the book should be read as reporting, or as a factual claim about any real organisation.
Nothing in the novel is instruction. Procedures, tradecraft, weapons and finance are written to serve a story, and are neither accurate nor usable guidance.
No affiliation with Pantheon Books, or with anything else called Pantheon
Pantheon is an independent novel published by Lacunae Designs. The title refers to an invented organisation inside the story.
It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, licensed by or otherwise connected to Pantheon Books, an imprint of Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group and part of Penguin Random House, or to any other publisher or imprint of a similar name. It is likewise unconnected to any film, television or game production of a similar name.
Any trade marks, brands or product names appearing in the novel or on this site belong to their respective owners. They are used descriptively or fictitiously, and their use implies no endorsement in either direction.
How the book is made
Pantheon is written with AI tools, and how that works is set out plainly in the colophon rather than buried here.
Content and age
Pantheon is written for adult readers. It contains sexual content, on-page violence, grief and bereavement, institutional coercion, and deception inside intimate relationships. The content note on the novel page describes this in more detail, and complete guidance ships with every edition of the book.
